She has worked with every level of the C-suite as well as senior managers and individual contributors. Her ability to connect with others, actively listen and provide insight creates a safe space for transformative change.
Tamera founded Stockton Executive Advisors and SEAchange Business Coaching and Consulting in 2012 as a natural progression from senior management at GE Capital and a 25-year history of working in commercial finance, healthcare, and nonprofit administration. Tamera brings to her clients the best practices, leadership and managerial training of a world class company along with her extensive background in finance, sales, marketing, and entrepreneurship.
Tamera adheres to the professional ethics and guidelines of the coaching industry as a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation and as a certified Integral Coach through New Ventures West, a highly respected and accredited coach training organization based in San Francisco and operating worldwide.
Tamera has experience in multiple methodologies associated with Integral coaching including ascertaining stages of human development and evaluating cognitive, relational, emotional and somatic competencies. Tamera is also skilled in the Enneagram theory of personality receiving advanced training through The Enneagram Institute.
The most common issues her clients choose to work on involve increasing awareness around emotional intelligence and improving communication. The Integral method of coaching is highly effective because it strives for long term sustainable change while also addressing a client’s immediate concerns. A variety of assessment tools may be used, however one-on-one conversation continues to be the most effective method for working with personality and self-awareness. Behavioral, communication and managerial skills may also be assessed through shadowing an employee and conducting feedback interviews.
Tamera graduated from Muhlenberg College with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Business Administration and from Drexel University with an MS focusing on Nonprofit Administration. Tamera served on the Board of Trustees of the Shriver Hall Concert Series at the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore and the Concert Artists of Baltimore. She is a trained literacy tutor, a former classical pianist and teacher.
